RemoteStar is looking to hire an HR Officer on behalf of our client based in the Scotland.

About Role -As an HR Officer you will actively engage in enhancing communication channels and building working relationships.Working closely with the HR Manager and Departmental Managers, you will play a vital role in enhancing employee engagement and fostering a positive company culture.

About Client-UK’s leading Structural Steelwork suppliers, offering a total solution for large-scale developments since 1992 with a client base that includes some of the UK’s and Kreland’s foremost main contractors and developers, enabling them to work across retail, commercial, health, education, data, and industrial sectors.

Location
- Carnwath, South Lanarkshire -Scotland

Responsibilities include:
\>To be the first point of contact for all day-to-day HR-related questions/concerns.
\>Provide HR support and guidance to managers on HR-related matters that reflect current employment legislation, policies, and best practices, contributing to a positive and engaging company culture.
\>Assist in the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions and job adverts, reviewing CVs, scheduling interviews, and taking notes.
\>Assist with the preparation of HR Documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and policies.
\>Assist in onboarding new employees, including carrying out new employee inductions.
\>Carry out Exit Interviews as required,
\>Assist in managing the probationary review process.
Assist in scheduling occupational Health appointments ensuring annual medicals are carried out as and when required.
\>Assist in maintaining employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
\>Process employee status changes, including internal promotions, transfers, etc.
\>Respond to employee inquiries regarding any HR-related matters address all employee issues on time and respond to any inquiries promptly.
\>Coordinate employee events, meetings, and training sessions as needed.
\>Support HR projects and initiatives.
\>Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
\>Assist in employee relation cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and probationary reviews.
\>Assist in monitoring short, and long-term, absences appropriately.
\>Ensure confidentiality at all times.
\>Provide administrative support, to HR and other departments as necessary.

Skills and Experience-:
\>Previous experience in Human Resources or related field essential,
\>CIPD qualified to a minimum of level 3 is mandatory,
\>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
\>Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
\>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
\>Excellent attention to detail
\>Organized and proactive, with a drive to deliver results and manage myself effectively.
\>Capable of working to deadlines and adapting to changing conditions.
\>Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
\>Flexibility and willingness to learn.
