There will be a requirement to work 0800-1600 for training when you first join the team.

**What does the role involve?**
- Ensuring a proactive approach to Health & Safety and Compliance, leading by example for the rest of the team
- Motivating and managing a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve key customer targets and performance objectives
- People management tasks including Return to Work meetings, investigations, appraisals, coordinating overtime, monitoring performance and attendance
- Liaising with customers, attending customer meetings and calls where required, and making sure to provide a responsive and professional service
- Role modelling the Wincanton Way, operating within the Wincanton values of Excellence, Integrity, Passion, Proactivity, Togetherness and Trust

**What are we looking for?**
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to motivate a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills to engage the team members
- PC literate, including an understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to use customer IT systems in accordance with training provided
- Able to consistently provide a high standard of customer service
- A positive, proactive and “can do” attitude to resolve issues and challenges

**What are we offering?**
- Salary £27,000 to £29,000 Dependant on Experience
- Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday 14:00pm - 22:00pm
