An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Research & Innovation Directorate team as a Data Management Assistant for University Hospitals Dorset Trust

The Department is involved in the set-up, design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials and other clinical research studies, working in collaboration with patients, research teams, hospital departments, other NHS Trusts, commercial and academic partners. We have also played a pivotal role in the delivery of urgent public health research during the pandemic including the recruitment of participants into COVID vaccine trials via our dedicated Dorset Clinical Trials Unit.

Based at Bournemouth Hospital and sharing our passion and enthusiasm for clinical research in the NHS, you will be required to work across the research portfolio under the supervision of our clinical trials team.

There is the opportunity for progression to a Band 3 within this role upon completion of recommended competencies.

**Base Location**: Bournemouth Hospital

**Interview Date**: TBC
