The RSPCA is seeking **3 new team members to start in May 2024 **to deliver **critical outbound telephone support** for our Inspectors and Animal Rescue Officers nationwide. In this role, you will contact the public to gather further details after initial calls to our National Control Centre. Your work will allow our officers to focus on urgent animal rescues.
- Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term
- Working hours: 35 hours / Mon - Friday 09.00 - 17.00

**What a day might look like for you**

No two days are alike for RSPCA Inspectorate Support Assistants as they juggle a variety of duties in their fast-paced roles. While their responsibilities are wide-ranging, the attached job description outlines the key tasks involved in this critical support position in the business.

An inspectorate support assistant will be involved in:

- Calling People of interest (POI's) following card responses to organise a re visit by an Animal Rescue Officer.
- Calling vets and owners to check they have completed actions in ensuring the animal/s have been seen by a vet.
- Undertaking outbound calls to clarify information and gain updates, and arranging for animals to go for their vaccinations.

Decision making and personal judgement is high on the agenda as you will identify if an incident can be dealt with by a volunteer and sharing outcomes inline with GDPR. Finally you may find yourself calling and liaising with external agencies such as Councils, Police etc to arrange joint visits with our field officers or to gather more information. **What makes a great Inspectorate Support Assistant?**
