Applications are invited for the post of Phlebotomist to work within the General Surgery and Cancer Care Group at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is an exciting newly created role within our care group. We have a vacancy for a suitable person(s) to join our team. Your role will be to obtain blood samples from patients within our acute admissions area and surgical wards for medical testing and transfusion through venepuncture. You will build trust and minimize patient discomfort during phlebotomy procedures while efficiently collecting blood specimens. Work collaboratively with patients, healthcare providers and patient support departments to ensure a high quality of service.
**This is a part time (15 hours per week) permanent role.
