**Salary**: £10.10 per hour

**About Your Role**

The service is close to the city of Newport, the house is ideally situated to ensure that individuals are able to participate fully in community life despite the challenges they may face arising from the complexity of their presenting needs.
Each of the individuals has profound multiple learning disabilities and additional complex needs and this will be the first time they have lived independently and we want to make it the most successful and positive experience for them.
You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out.
You’ll develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties.
You’ll provide help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

**Next Steps**

Once you’ve applied you’ll have a call with our dedicated in-house recruitment team to find out more about the role.
You’ll then have an interview scheduled at the service and have your chance to go down and meet the team.
If you are successful we’ll go through an Onboarding Process obtaining a Free DBS Check and References.
You’ll then start with our 3-day online induction with our dedicted Learning & Development team prior to returning to the service to continue your growing career at Consensus.
