Part Time / 18.5 Hours Per Week / Permanent

Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Fixed Term until June 2023

**Play an integral role in improving dignity, independence, and quality of life for people in Leicester.**

**What you’ll be doing**

You’ll receive calls from people who need care/support and professionals where you’ll carry out assessments over the phone to identify what action is required. As the first point of contact for people requiring our services, all advice must be responsive and effective especially in emergency situations.. You’ll provide clear and accurate information, advice, and services, ensuring communication is of a timely manner so follow up on calls can be actioned. In addition, you’ll offer support to the team by providing an effective system for booking and dealing with enquiries.

**What you’ll need**

With a commitment to working in partnership with people and their carers to understand their needs. You’ll be able to accurately gather the details of queries over the phone. With a professional manner remaining calm in all situations. You’ll have great communications and interpersonal skills. Being able to provide the caller with helpful advice and support.

With some previous experience in a social care setting you’ll be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to organise and team work successfully.

**Working hours**

We have a full time positions working 37 hours per week fixed term until June 2023. A well as, an permanent 18.5 hours per week, the days will be agreed depending on the sucessful candiate. Core working hours are typically 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-4.30pm on a Friday. A rota will be discussed and agreed upon at appointment to suit your needs. Salary shown will be pro rated for part time hours.
