**About us**

- To support policy, strategy, and operations across the Council’s provision by working with elected council members, staff, other local authorities and external bodies.
- To carry out functions required by law of a local authority’s Proper Officer.
- To support Council’s services and facilities to meet the needs of the local community.

**Responsibilities**:

- To be responsible for ensuring that instructions of the Council in connection with its statutory responsibilities as a local council are carried out.
- To support as the main point of contact on Council business.
- To support the preparation of agendas and minutes for meetings of the Council, its Committees and any Sub-committees.
- To ensure the implementation of Council’s decisions, policies and projects.
- To ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) and contracts are adhered to.
- To support the partnerships and relationships (e.g. with other local authorities) to support and develop the Council’s services.
- To ensure the Council’s facilities and services are effectively promoted and maintained, including allotment and cemetery facilities
- To attend relevant training, conferences and forums associated with the role and the development of Council services.
- To support the management of health and safety to ensure the well-being, and safety of all who visit or work in the facilities provided by the Council and/or are involved in any activities/events organised by the Town Council.
- Commit to complete CiLCA qualification

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £17,730.16 per month

Expected hours: 24 per week
