**Field Service Engineer**

**Salary**: £35,000 - £38,000 + OTE £42,000

**Overview**:
A leading manufacturer providing services to the Automotive industry is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent move to join a company where you would have a high level of autonomywith scope to move into Specialist, managerial, planning and project positions once you have established yourself within the business. As the Field Service Engineer you will be required to the Northamptonshire, Leicester and surrounding areas.

**The Company**:
Our client is a market leading manufacturer of automotive machinery serving a variety of automotive manufacturers. The business provides a stable working environment for thousands of talented individuals worldwide contributing to the commissioning of thousandsof new machines each year. Utilising excellent management and leadership the technical director has provided a catalyst for growth within the service department doubling the size of the service portfolio and a 100% increase in the number of service engineers.Due to the successful acquisition of leading contracts and reorganisation of the engineering hierarchy the need for a Field service engineer has arisen.

**The Role of a Field Service Engineer**:

- As a field service engineer you will be based from home managing your own work load
- On average you will be required to make 4/5 client visit a day.
- You will be visiting various sites and even provide roadside tests
- Your role will also include installing and commissioning, preventative maintenance, servicing on gas analysis equipment.
- Customer training on gas equipment

**Key Skills**:

- Open to the background
- ideally have experience on gas, power stations, CNC, automotive, manufacturing
- You would have strong Mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Must have experience on calibration and testing equipment.
- Must have a UK driver’s license
- You would need to be able to demonstrate that you are both self-motivated and flexible to be able to meet the needs of this growing business.

**Benefits**: Car Allowance £6,600 and paid 35p per mile, 33 days holiday inc BH
