A progressive manufacturing organisation in power train and vehicle & component test systems, requires a Quality Inspector to join their expanding quality team.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will drive quality objectives while meeting customer requirements, taking a hands on approach to Quality Assurance.

**Quality Inspector responsibilities -**
- Ensuring all aspects of the Quality Management System are compliant.
- Conducting internal and external audits.
- Provide technical support to purchasing, engineering and commercial departments.
- Help to drive continuous improvement within the workplace and reduce scrap.
- First point of contact for both customers and suppliers.
- Actively promote and support that health & safety always comes first.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have some of the following -**
- Experience working within a similar role (Quality Technician, Quality Engineer etc).
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and quality techniques.
- Relevant mechanical/electrical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or training.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Excellent MS Office and MRP System skills.
