Early Years Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our expanding and successful business which is located in an idyllic rural setting.

Applicants must be flexible and have the capacity to do overtime throughout the year. However, we can also be flexible and accommodate other Education Commitments.

This role will be approximately 33 hours per week.

Role is required from September, however some work can be provided from July 2024 if the suitable person is interested.

Contract will initially be for one year, but will be reviewed with the hope of a permanent position.

Please note that we are in a rural area, the bus route from Ulverston is good, or your own transport would be beneficial.

- be willing to work with nursery and primary aged children

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we operate a vigorous Child Protection Policy. A comprehensive screening process, including an enhanced disclosure check, will be undertaken on all applicants.

Level 3 Early Years Educator would be preferred, however we will consider someone who is untrained, as long as they meet the above criteria.

We are happy to take on an apprentice.

Pay: £6.40-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week
