Cook / Baker

Are you someone who os excited by cakes and traybakes, scones and pastries?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Cook/Baker to join our Kitchen team here at **Vennels in Durham City**.

This role is all about baking and decorating our renowned cakes (layer and loaf), scones, generously filled quiches and pies, warming satisfying seasonal and always homemade soups, not forgetting our mouth-watering sandwiches, toasties and ciabattas. We rely on a strong team ethic to meet our customer high standards, whilst maintaining the highest level of food safety and health and safety.

- This is a permanent role, working minimum28 hours per week, 4 days over 7 (weekends included) 7.30am until 3.30pm. You MUST be available to work all year round.

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
