Queen Elizabeth’s School is recruiting for the role of Lead Practitioner to lead on whole school Reading and Literacy. The role will incorporate Head of English.

- Have the required experience, knowledge, skills and motivation to lead on specific whole school areas for development;
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a proven track record of raising achievement for all students;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and motivate
- Have taught English across the agreed range, including A Level
- Have experience of leadership within English teams to develop further the quality of teaching and learning
- Have a proven track record of successful leadership in a secondary school, academy or multi-academy trust
