General Labourer

We are a manufacturer of orthopedic components/materials manufactured to high specifications for the medical industry. Our main focus is to supply high quality medical products to exacting customer and international specifications, supported by our technical department which is capable of testing polymeric materials to the highest standards. We are looking for highly motivated individual to join our Direct Compression Moulding Department (DCM).

**Key Accountable Areas**:

- Tool maintenance
- Organise workload for each DCM machine
- Maintain the cleanliness of the department and equipment
- Assist the coordinators with receipt of customer supplied inserts
- Transport finished boxes to the logistics department
- Replenish stock levels
- Helping departments as and when required
- Working within sufficient timeframes
- Following instructions promptly and competently
- Ensure all Health & Safety and Environmental procedures and practices are adhered to (i.e. when moving products, DCM tooling, etc)
- Compliance with all instructions relating to the storage of materials/equipment

**Required Qualifications**:

- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous experience in a factory / manual role

**Hours of Employment**
- Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 17:00, Friday 08.00-13.30, which includes breaks
- Due to the nature of the work, you may be expected to be flexible with regards to working hours and breaks to enable the best efficiency and utilisation during the daily period
