Our client who is a reputable and an established precision engineering business of machined components and products is looking to recruit a CNC Machinist.

**Job description**

A capable, versatile and skilled CNC Machinist, Programmer, Setter/Operator is required to programme, set and operate HURCO lathes in a busy workshop environment. Milling experience would be advantageous but not essential.

We are seeking someone who is: forward thinking, has a flexible approach, with good organisational skills, attention to detail and the experience in a transferable role.

This is a diverse position anda unique opportunity to join/be part of a small team

**Requirements**:

- CNC programming (writing/editing) experience - Apprentice Trained or Time Served.
- Minimum of 2 years, producing **high quality precision parts**, in an engineering role.
- Ability to work independently (using your own initiative) and be a team player, with a strong work ethic.
- Friendly and professional.
- Driving license due to the company's location in Tockwith

**Working hours/days**:
The company is a commutable distance from York, Leeds and Harrogate - **close to the A1 (Tockwith near Wetherby).**

The working hours are Monday to Thursday: 08:00am - 16:45pm and Friday 08:00am - 14.30pm.
