**Description**
CME is looking for a highly talented QA/Test Engineer to join the Trade Execution Team in Belfast as a Test Engineer. You will work on high-profile, mission-critical projects on CME's electronic GLOBEX trading platform.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Analyse and decompose software requirements from business/stakeholder requirements.
- Involved in test strategy, planning & execution/implementation of automated test cases
- Maintain Test Framework, test environments and automated test packs
- Contribute to continuous improvement, improving team processes and methodologies, and following best practices.
**Essential Criteria**:

- Bachelor's degree (with honours) or equivalent/better strongly preferred, but substantial relevant experience could substitute
- Experience in QA execution and planning
- BDD methodologies (Cucumber) and writing automated acceptance criteria
- Solid Linux/GIT knowledge
- A growth mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
**Desirable Criteria**:

- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile
- ISTQB Foundational Knowledge
- Keeps track of the leading edge in Software Testing
- Knowledge of financial messaging protocols, and in particular FIX.
- Knowledge of GCP (staff will have opportunity to gain GCP certifications)
- Java / Jenkins / Ansible / Python / Shell-scripting experience
- Confluence, JIRA, or other Atlassian tools.
