Houghton Hams are looking for an experienced Sales & Accounts Administrator.

We are a family business selling pork based products to the food service and retail sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our small, hard-working and dedicated team. Working under the direction of the Management team, you will be providing financial, sales and administrative support for our Moulton Park site. You will play a vital role in supporting the whole sales office function.

The role will suit a person who takes a proactive and flexible approach to a job role with an analytical mindset, who is looking to make the role their own. You will have the opportunity to develop and be involved in all aspects of the sales ledger function, along with support to progress. Food industry experience is not required as full training is provided but would be advantageous.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the sales invoicing function, including the timely and accurate processing of invoices onto the sage and banking systems, accurately dealing with any associated queries and issues.
- Support the sales office team, helping deal with customer queries, processing orders and management of packaging assets.
- Provide general accounting support to the finance leadership team with progression the role will expand over time.

A good telephone manner, experience with Sage is a must, and EDI and Office 365 app experience preferred.

Salary negotiable depending on experience. This role is office based, Monday to Friday 0830 to 1730

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
