Temporary Laundress

**TEMPORARY LAUNDRESS REQUIRED FOR UHNW PROPERTY IN MAYFAIR**

**Location**: Mayfair, London

**Contract**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: £20 gross per hour, negotiable

**Status**: Live-out

We are assisting a Middle Eastern UHNWI with the recruitment of a professional, experienced, and discreet Temporary Laundress to work at their large, fully staffed Household in Mayfair. The role is to start on the 20th of April for 10 days, with the possibility of it being a bit longer, depending on the principal’s schedule.

You will be well-presented and versatile with the ability to undertake laundry duties, including caring for delicate items, and cleaning the laundry room. You will not be required to manage wardrobes or collect laundry from the main household. Working collaboratively with other household staff, you will ensure that all the family’s needs are met.

**DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- General cleaning of the laundry room
- Management of all household laundry, including clothing, linens, etc.
- Care and laundering of fine fabrics including cashmere, silks, bespoke suit materials etc.
- Care and laundering of children’s clothes
- Care and laundering of all staff uniforms
- Shoe cleaning
- Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items
- Assisting with housekeeping duties if and when required

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- Prior housekeeping/laundry experience in a high-end private household
- Fluency in English and the right to live and work in the UK
- Hardworking, dedicated and high attention to detail
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Team player with a positive attitude
- London based
- Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
- Excellent checkable references
