**About the role**
Balfour Beatty have a fabulous opportunity for a** Storeperson **to join our **Asset & Technology Solutions Team** based in **Derby**

A major branch of our business is our Asset & Technology Team, who provide in-house solutions such as Fleet cars, vans and HGVs, tower, and crawler cranes, piling equipment, fire and security services, suction excavation, modular buildings, and driver risk management.

They are also responsible for the Site Mobilisation Hub which acts as a catalyst for ensuring all our projects are mobilised with the right plant, fleet, and equipment on time and that we always use our in-house services for best value.

As a **Storeperson **you will be responsible for the day to day running of the motor vehicles Stores department, ensuring that all parts and workshop equipment are maintained in line with the business needs.

**What you'll be doing**
As a **Storesperson**, your main accountabilities will be as follows:

- Ensure best parts prices are obtained from a wide range of suppliers
- To assist as necessary in reception area
- Stock is correct and twice annual stock takes
- Exceeding of Customer’s expectations
- Fork lift truck driving

**Who we're looking for**
The following personal qualities and experience are required:

- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification within the relevant field - or ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of skill
- Experience in a fast-moving parts department
- Knowledge of the motor industry and basic vehicle knowledge

- Computer skills
- Customer focused

Desirable
- Fork lift license
