Store Detective

Monarch Security Services is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Detective to join our team in the UK. As a Store Detective, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our retail establishment and preventing theft and criminal activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct surveillance and monitor CCTV cameras to identify and prevent theft, shoplifting, and other criminal activities.
- Maintain a visible presence within the store to deter potential offenders.
- Identify and apprehend suspects in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement agencies to handle incidents and provide necessary support.
- Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and recommend improvements to enhance store security.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with any security-related concerns or inquiries.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Store Detective or in a similar loss prevention/security role.
- In-depth knowledge of loss prevention techniques, CCTV systems, and security protocols.
- Strong observational and analytical skills to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats.
- Ability to handle confrontational situations calmly and professionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, store management, and law enforcement.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is preferred.
