Nursery Practitioner

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner Level 2 or 3 or equivalent to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early childhood development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Observe and assess children's development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about their child's day
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children's emotional well-being and promote positive behavior management
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and meets health and safety standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's programs and policies

**Skills**:

- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Experience in childcare or nursery settings
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a group of children
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with children of different ages
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Due to location would suit a car driver or lives local to the setting.

We offer competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

**Salary**: £6.96-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
