This is a temporary position initially on a three month contract with the possibility of extension.

**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**:

- To carry out and assist in Fabrication tasks relating the manufacture of machine safety guarding systems.
- Adhere to all company and departmental processes and procedures. H&S, BRC an 6s.
- Ensuring all work is entered into the maintenance management system. (Pirana)
- Work as part of a team with Engineering to improve machine line safety.
- Be willing to work overtime and other shift patterns as per business needs. (minimum of two weekends per month overtime required)

**Experience and Education**:

- Time served Fabricator with relevant proof of qualifications.
- Minimum of 8 years post qualification work experience.
- Mig and Stick welding. Tig welding would be an advantage.
- Experience in metal forming and fabrication.
- Previous experience in safety guard manufacturing.
- Ability to work consistently to high standards and prioritise tasks according to workload.
- Sound decision making skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team or as an individual. With little to no supervision.

- Have a very neat and tidy approach to their work. Attention to detail is crucial.
- Be very safety conscious and committed to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: £15.51 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
