Salary - £42,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)

As a **Project Engineer**, you will lead the industrialisation or new products and enhancements from concept through to volume manufacture. You will work with global R&D teams to coordinate and implement lean process' and best practices into newand existing manufacturing areas. Does this sound like the challenge you've been looking for?

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Produce and maintain Product Industrialisation Plans and Project Plans for any allocated projects.
- Lead responsibility for developing, implementing, maintaining and improving manufacturing methods, work instructions and processes for a range of products, utilising strong Lean Manufacturing methodology and in line with defined design / quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise to the design teams in Product development cycles and DFX reviews.
- Evaluate, troubleshoot and problem-solve automated production equipment, fixtures, tools, materials, and processes and provide critical front-line technical support to the existing production areas.
- Participate in technical design review meetings and co-engineering meetings and other multi-functional review meetings.
- Train and coach colleagues, and potentially local sites in new Manufacturing Systems and processes and the Lean Manufacturing philosophy.

**Your experience**:

- Experienced in assembly process evaluation, control & validation and the use of Six Sigma.
- Experience with SMT equipment, aqueous cleaning and wave solder processes would be beneficial.
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Suitable experience of implementing Lean Manufacturing Systems and designing production processes

**Your qualifications**:

- Degree level or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- Leadership potential and good organizational skills
- Project Management skills and Communication skills
