**Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00)**

**Salary: £33,415 Per Annum**

We are currently seeking a Planning Supervisor to join our Transport team at our Minworth site. As a Planning Supervisor you will be responsible for the day to day management of the planning function. Responsibility for the ensuring the timely & efficient booking, co-ordinating and planning of all deliveries and collections within the remit of their associated depots, ensuring planning compliance to drivers hours and RTD legislation and company processes & controls.

**Job responsibilities of a Planning Supervisor include**:

- Planning support and guidance to the Central Ambient planning team
- Coaching and development of the planning staff.
- Reduce costs and improve service.
- Identify areas of continuous improvement to exceed KPI'S.
- Other duties as reasonably required.
- The ability to travel to alternative sites is a necessity.

**Qualifications**
As a Planning Supervisor you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications:

- Knowledge of transport and planning in a radial & direct delivery environment including inter depot trunking
- Experience of transport planning in a shared user environment
- National network experience & able to see the big picture & network view
- Ability to deputise for the Planning Manager
- Ability to develop internal and external relationships
- Sub contraction management experience
- Experience of planning within a cost / KPI driven operational environment
- Ability to identify skill gaps & training requirements in order to develop their team
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and to prioritise workloads to meet set deadline.
