We are looking for a Band 4 to join our team.

If you would like a change in direction, or to further your career in this exciting area of nursing, our in house training and development programme will equip you with the skills you need in HIV and Sexual Health. Based at St Mary’s hospital, providing HIV and sexual Health care of the highest quality to patients, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has one of the largest and most innovative units of its kind in the UK. This is a full time permanent position.

**We require an enthusiastic nurse with**:
Ambition to develop professional, clinical & research skills
Ability to manage difficult situations & use own initiative.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Non-judgmental & empathetic attitude
- Following the preceptorship period, the post holder will provide specialist nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients and relatives/carers in collaboration with the MDT.
- Actively seek evidence-based practice to maintain competence and continue to develop and deliver a high standard of nursing care in Sexual Health and HIV.
- Monitor and maintain policies, standards of nursing care and staff development, as part of the nursing team and MDT to maintain a safe working environment.
- Be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified within the Jefferiss Wing and Trust.
