This role is for someone energetic, with a can-do attitude, who can turn their hand to a variety of tasks. **Someone who likes to serve and takes and followers orders well.**

The Principal has one large dog and this person should be confident and comfortable in handling and travelling with the dog when required. A dog handler is employed full-time, however, you are required to be extremely dog-friendly and offer assistance as needed.

This home is used on occasion 4-6 months of the year. There is a housekeeper that comes in daily along with a chef, and maids. However, you will help with maintaining the household to the highest's of standards at all time. When they are in residence your role will be personal butler with Houseman duties.
- Valeting, packing and unpacking
- Butler service
- Cleaning of pantries and common areas
- Feeding dog when needed

- Travel - setting up wardrobe in hotels
- Working closely with PA on any personal engagements
- Personal shopping
- Ad hoc errands

The Houseman side of this role is essential to the good running of the house. Butler services will be limited because of the time Principle spends working. This means there would be a lot of down time which is not the way we work. This means the dual role comes into play and your assistance to the other house staff will be valuable. You will also be
- Assisting with housekeeping and deep cleaning carpets and upholstery, polishing brass, silver, mirrors, glass, light fixtures, and chandeliers.
- Waxing all floors or hard cleaning of floors, emptying bins.
- Changing light bulbs, fuses, checking boiler pressure, bleeding radiators, checking security and alarm systems and performing minor household repairs or reporting to maintenance.
- Assisting with laundry and ironing, laying tables, caring for the pets as and when.
- Maintaining the cleaning of windows, paths and steps. (or organising contractors).
- Raking gravel and leaves, jet spraying exterior walls, sills and outdoor furniture.
- Valeting cars, driving to meetings, shopping, running errands, airport and school runs.
- Assisting to serve at dinners, looking after swimming pools, saunas, gyms and hot tubs
- This is one of those "key" roles within the house.

duties will include, but not limited to, general housekeeping/ cleaning, and security. The role will require some weekend work so flexibility is required. You must be in physically good shape as this job is very demanding. Ideal for ex-military or other past high paced service industry.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
