**IT Helpdesk Support | North Bristol | Full Time | £22,000 - £26,000 depending on experience**

Our client is a successful and growing IT Managed Service Provider offering outsourced IT services to UK-based businesses. The helpdesk is often a busy environment, so you will need to be able to work on your own but be aware of what is going on within thehelpdesk system and be able to escalate support tickets if needed.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent customer service skills, a passion to help people and a willingness to learn and succeed. You will also have a proactive approach and the ability to prioritise tasks.

You will have the opportunity to visit clients from time to time to carry out support tasks on-site.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Preferably 2+ years of experience working on an IT Helpdesk or IT Support Technician role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016+
- Knowledge of Exchange Server 2013+ and Active Directory administration
- Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V administration would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Office 365 administration
- Some TCP/IP and firewall configuration experience
- Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
- Good understanding of networking infrastructure
- Microsoft or CompTIA certification an advantage
- Excellent telephone manner
- Passionate about helping people
- ‘Hands-on’ approach and a willingness to learn
- Reliable and acts in a timely manner
- Excellent team player
- Time management and organisational skills whilst able to prioritise workload accordingly
