Cardiff, United Kingdom Platfform Full time

To provide social, emotional, and practical support to people experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional well-being within a 24-hour Supported Living. The aim of this project is to guide individuals through the trauma they have experienced towards recovery, by finding the best ways for the individual to become independent and connected with their community and wellbeing. The purpose is to support individuals to manage their tenancy and gain skills to promote their independence.

The service will operate 365 days a year 24 hours a day. Shifts will be on a rota basis and this role will involve days, nights, and weekend work. Sleep-in shifts have a set payment that includes a disrupted sleep payment where necessary. There will also be optional overtime opportunities available. Staff will have the support of a 24-hour Management On-Call system.

We work with people experiencing challenges with their mental health, and with communities who want to create a greater sense of wellbeing in the places that they live. Through our projects, we work with thousands of people each year.

We believe that long-lasting wellbeing comes about by understanding how lives can be shaped by traumatic experiences, identifying people’s strengths and focussing on healing. We know we can’t ‘fix’ people, but we can walk alongside people and help where we can on their journey.

We try hard to make Platfform a great place to work, we live our values and mission in everything that we do.
