**Sales Development** Representative**

This is an exciting role within a small and dynamic team. A varied role, with the Sales Development Representative role being at the heart of the team. You’ll need to be organised and be initiative-taking, solution focused to ensure tasks are completed successfully.

This is a full-time position but will consider some hybrid working after completing a successful probation period.

The role is based near Stansted, where you will need to be within a commutable distance with access to your own vehicle.
**Sales Development RepresentativeResponsibilities**

Reporting to the Operations Director and working with the Operations and Admin teams, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for securing the required monthly number of Requests for Quotation. This will be measured and achieved throughthe conversion of Leads, from projects for new customers and new projects for exiting customers.

You will need to be a strong communicator, have a problem-solving attitude, and have a great energy.
**Sales Development RepresentativeExperience Essentials**

You should have experience as a Sales Development Representative so you’re comfortable with sourcing leads, developing and maintaining a sales database, providing reports of sales success and KPI’s and you’ll understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
**Energy**, a positive attitude, and commitment are prerequisites as are exceptional IT and Microsoft skills.
You should:

- Be focused on solutions, (can-do attitude)
- Excel with time management and task coordination
- Be confident
- Be highly flexible and adaptable
- Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions
- Ideally educated to A level or equivalent in English
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Be prepared to think creatively and be innovative

This role would suit someone who is looking for an opportunity to work locally, within a great team doing great things in the manufacturing and metal work industry. Having experience in construction and manufacturing would be an advantage but not essential.
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets.
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
- Experience in dealing with architects and engineers would be an advantage but not essential.
