Night Supervisor/ Carer Part Time

Emmaus House is a 26 bedded Christian Residential Home. We are seeking a night supervisor /carer.

You will need to have experience in the care sector and hold a NVQ / Diploma level 3 or above.

The post involves administering medication, delivering high quality care, running a care shift delegating overnight jobs fairly.

Residents to be checked regularly and care given is to be recorded on the electronic care system.

Delivery of personal care as required during the night.

There will be cleaning and laundry tasks to be completed overnight.

To take responsibility for the security of the home overnight

You will be required to liaise with emergency GP's Nurses and other health professionals as needed during the night. This will need to be recorded on the electronic care records.

Must have good communication skills.

To contact families in an emergency showing compassion and respect.

Handover to day staff at the end of the shift. 2045hrs to 0700hrs

Training and shadow shifts will be given.

Enhanced DBS and references will be required.

**Salary**: £10.81-£12.06 per hour
