We currently require a Site Supervisor to join the Balfour Beatty Vinci team working on the tunnelling Precast Segment section of HS2 project.

Liaise with and support the Precast Project Manager to coordinate the management of a project and control all site activities.

What you'll be doing:

- Manage both direct and subcontract workforce by effective leadership ensuring any performance issues are raised and resolved immediately;
- Ensure the coordination of works on an infrastructure project ensuring effective communication between all parts of the operation team including suppliers, subcontractors, engineering and other key stakeholders internal and external to deliver a successful outcome;
- Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project solution; identify training requirements and review the performance of the workforce assembling the project;
- Ensure all works are completed as specified in approved RAMS, permits and associated lift plan using plan do review check act methodology;
- Carry out regular safety and environmental inspections and implement recommended courses of action as identified from progress monitoring and management inspections;
- Complete production boards with actual completed outputs ensuring any delays are captured for continuous improvements;
- Have an understanding of the baseline solution costs estimates and ensure where possible compliance against outputs, gang build ups and material utilisation;
- Measure and record actual works on site and compare against estimated requirements;

- CSCS skilled worker or development to supervisor
- CSCS card;
- SSSTS;
- Streetworks Supervisor;
- Excavation with Proprietary
- Shoring Systems;
- Temporary Works Supervisor;
- First Aider.
