**As the Apprentice Electrician your duties & responsibilities will include**:

- Must have sat and passed SECTT test.
- Must be ready to start a SCQF 7 in Electrical Installation and complete FICA assessment within 5 years.
- Gain hands on operational experience by working closely with the qualified electricians and other members of the engineering teams and carrying out all tasks as instructed.
- Assist in the installation, testing and maintenance of electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using both hand tools and power tools
- Assist in fault diagnosis using testing equipment, hand tools and carry out any repairs as instructed.
- Gain an understanding of web-based records associated with completion tests and assist in keeping these records up to date
- Ensure a high standard of housekeeping whilst works are progressing
- Ensure that all methods of works comply with the company policies, in particular health & safety.
- Proactive in approach to work

**Additional Information**
- You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools
- You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground
- You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £10,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aberdeen, AB15 8RA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- electrical: 1 year (preferred)
