**Key Responsibilities**
- **Conduct Swimming Lessons**: Lead and instruct participants in swimming techniques, water safety, and fitness exercises. Adapt lessons to suit various skill levels, from beginners to more advanced swimmers.
- **Promote Mental Wellness**: Integrate activities and discussions that emphasize the mental health benefits of swimming, including stress reduction, improved mood, and increased confidence.
- **Ensure Safety**: Monitor participants to ensure a safe swimming environment. Enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies as needed.
- **Collaborate with Program Staff**: Work closely with the Program Coordinator and other staff to ensure the program runs smoothly and meets the needs of participants.

**Qualifications**
- **Certification**: Valid swimming instructor certification
- **Experience**: Previous experience teaching swimming,
- **(preferred) CPR/First Aid**: Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- **Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire participants. Sensitivity to the unique needs and experiences of minority women.
- **Availability**: Must be available to teach classes according to the program schedule. Saturday 4pm-5pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: £16.56-£17.53 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
