You will join the AFC Governance and Education team for United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland (UKI), which provides support and advice to AFC colleagues across all financial crime risk themes.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Collating/ drafting time critical Board & Board-Level update papers including Money Laundering and Reporting Officer (MLRO) reports required to be presented to the Boards of each UK legal entity the MLRO is responsible for
- Maintenance/upkeep of formal documentation, including UK Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR), Reasonable Steps Assurance Framework, Management Responsibilities Map, the MLRO’s Statement of Responsibilities and Position document plus job descriptions for each of the MLRO’s direct reports
- Monitoring the status of UKI self-identified issues (SII) and internal/external audit findings, including monitor findings, through regular review of outstanding points in Deutsche Bank’s Global Findings Management System (GFMS) and supporting remediation of said issues
- Coordination of monthly Issue Management review forums, as well as enhancement of UK AFC’s Issue Management processes
**Your skills and experience**
- Relevant experience within financial services, such as a governance, Chief Operating Office (COO), audit, and/or change capacity
- A good eye for detail when writing/ reviewing documentation, such as Law, Regulation, Guidance, and policies
- Experience sourcing information from stakeholder groups and consolidating information for presentation
- Competent presenting opinion to senior management on a wide range of AFC risk related matters including AML/ Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CTF) requirements
