Joining our Bank of casual staff allows you to choose shifts that are convenient to you and required by St Monica Trust.
As part of the concierge team the role of the Minibus Driver is to provide a high quality, reliable, efficient, flexible and friendly transport service to St Monica Trust for its residents, staff and external visitors. This role is based across 2 sites - The Chocolate Quarter in Keynsham and Monica Wills House in Bedminster.
Summary responsibilities:
- To provide and coordinate the transport service between sites and required destinations for the residents.- To risk assess each passenger and destination to reduce risk and injury.- To escalate any safeguarding concerns as necessary.- To ensure this service is effective and make suggestions for improvements where needed contributing to new locations, venues, trips etc.- Daily/Weekly safety checks as directed by the Driving at Work and Company Vehicle policy to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.- Collection, removal of dirty laundry from allocated point and collection and returning of laundry and rails.- Regular/routine checking of communication book and diary for additional requests for support.- Assist Care and Support teams and other teams / departments as required.- To drive any of the Trust’s vehicles, as and when required.- Demonstrating compassion, patience and care at all times.
Must have current, clean driving licence with D1 category included.
£12.43 per hour, bank shifts as and when required.
Salary Ranges:
£25,854.40 - £27,393.60
