**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred support to 2 young men in their own homes in Inverness. Each person we support has very different support needs and we have tailored care and support plans to meet their needs. As a team we work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and aspirations/goals of the people we support are met.

As a Support Worker you will help to organise and participate in activities. The young men enjoy activities such as swimming, horse riding, football, trampolining, going to the cinema, walking, keeping fit and much more. You will support them to participate and develop a range of life skills such as cooking, cleaning, managing finances, supporting with personal hygiene, scheduling & attending appointments, meal planning and shopping.

The people we support have a range of communication difficulties and at times may exhibit extreme challenging behaviours. Support Workers need to be resilient and have an empathic approach and nature. You should have the ability to remain calm in a crisis and be able to reflect on your own practice and learning. You need to have the ability to form positive relationships with people we support, colleagues, guardians, families, and other professionals. You need to have a good understanding of discrimination and health and wellbeing issues.

**We are currently recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours) role for waking nights only**
