Remote, United Kingdom SOS - Silence of Suicide Full time

**Job Specification for Helpline Supervisor - Saturday and Sunday 4pm until 8pm only**

SOS Silence of Suicide are a small, family led charity who were formed in 2015. Our aims are to reduce the silence, shame and stigma surrounding suicide and poor emotional health by encouraging open discussion. We do this in many ways, including through our freephone helpline

We are looking for a supervisor to work 8 hours per weekend, both Saturday and Sunday between 4pm and 8pm on both days, to support our team of frontline operatives and their support staff.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all protocols are followed by the team, and will be the ‘on call’ person that queries or problems are escalated to, including technical issues which you will be fully trained to handle.

You will work 8 hours per week, and will be paid £15.00 per hour.

Ideally, you will have supervisory experience gained within the charitable sector. Previous experience, and understanding of, poor emotional health, will be a distinct advantage.

You should have a firm, but understanding approach to people, be able to create and maintain positive professional relationships and be committed to helping our staff and volunteers personally develop and improve.

You will undergo intense training, followed by a period of induction before going live.

You will train, and work, from home for this role.

We look forward to hearing from you.
