Location: Walton on Thames

**Salary**: Up to £35,000 PA based on experience
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday
Benefits: 20 days paid holiday + bank holidays

Our client is a medium sized company operating in the field of commercial building maintenance in the south east of England. This role will often involve going to several sites each day which will therefore involve a reasonable amount of travel in between.You will ideally live within 10-20 miles of Walton on Thames

Key Responsibilities of a Handyman/Carpenter
They are looking for an additional member of staff who specialises in carpentry based maintenance and repairs (some knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical work would be very advantageous) but flexibility is a key requirement along with an understandingof when to call in to ask for more specialist back up when needed. The work is very varied and rarely are 2 days the same

Key Competencies of a Handyman/Carpenter
- Excellent customer/interpersonal skills
- Experience of good practice in Health and Safety is a firm requirement (training will be provided to expand this area of competence)
- Reasonable degree of computer literacy will be needed
