Field Engineer

Job role: Field Control System Engineer / Industrial Electrician

**Salary**: £37,000-£50,000 per annum + Overtime available
Location: Somersham, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours (Days) -08.00am - 16.30pm

The Role:

- To visit client sites around the UK installing, commissioning & maintaining an array of control systems / panels within the FMCG, Automotive, Aerospace or Defence Industry.
- Occasional international travel through the USA / Europe (All expenses paid)
- 1-3 times a year, weekend installations on clients sites (paid at time ½ & double time)
- Work on a variety of projects including controls panels, machinery safety upgrades, robot (pick & place) cells alongside vision systems.
- While visiting clients sites, you will review the electrical/software design of the control systems - ensuring safety measures are met throughout installations & validations.
- The use of PLCs (Siemans, Omron)
**Requirements**:

- Electrical bias engineer with extensive knowledge surrounding electrical based systems in an industrial environment, PLCs, Control Panel Systems & High/Low Voltage Systems
- Previous experience working in industrial/manufacturing environments installing or maintaining PLCs & Control Systems.
- A willingness to learn & positive team orientated attitude
- Practical Qualifications (HNC, HNCD OR City & Guilds) or NVQ in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Understanding of PLCs programmes such as Omron or Siemans.
