The SARS Coordinator will process all resident Subject Access Requests (SARs), excluding staff SARs, on behalf of PA Housing, liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business to ensure compliance with legislation and responses within regulatory timescales.

We are happy to offer hybrid working with this role; You will be required to be in the office for around 2/3 days per week with the rest being from home, however please bear in mind we may need you to be in the office more within your probation and training. It's important to us that you feel fully ready and confident in the role before working from home. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too

**Your responsibilities...**
- Work alongside the governance team - in particular the DPO - taking their advice on whether information should be disclosed or refused in compliance with the relevant legislation
- Assess requests and correspondence to identify any internal and external stakeholders that may be affected by disclosure
- Respond to requests ensuring that all correspondence and associated disclosures are timely, accurate and compliant with legislation, regulations, and policies
- Liaise with the relevant Head of Service / Executive Director where disclosure relates to sensitive matters
- Ensure accurate records are kept of requests, responses, disclosures, and exemptions and associated correspondence in accordance with legislation

- Use of Northgate Housing Management or similar system
- Intermediate IT skills, Word, Excel, MS Outlook
- Considers Value for Money when approaching and completing a task
- Knowledge of social housing management procedures
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice
- Experience working in a housing environment preferably tenancy support or social housing management
- Practical experience of working with Landlord and Tenant Law
