Apprentice Optical Assistant

A fantastic and unique opportunity for an individual to become an Optical Assistant Apprentice with a fantastic team at a well - established opticians in Kenilworth.

You will be supported with a training package that will help you become a fully qualified Optical Assistant where you will gain customer service skills, knowledge in optical support and develop skills and behaviour suitable to work in an optical establishment.

You will be part of the customer/patient journey in the practice from beginning to end, from making their appointment, checking them in upon arrival, the pre-screen (done before the sight test), the frame and lens selection, dispensing the spectacles, and then when they return to collect their order.

All training will be provided for this role.

**Desired qualifications**

GCSEs at grades 4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English are essential.

Dispensing frames and spectacle lenses, Contact lens, Dispensing course, Optometrist.

Own in house training

This is a full-time role with training delivered remotely to the workplace
