REED Further Education are recruiting for a a newly generated role for our client a FE college based in the North West of England as a**Head of Digital Transformation.**

Salary - £48 - £53K + benefits
Full Time - 37hrs a week

**Main Purpose**:

- Take strategic responsibility for the development of a new cross-college Digital Strategy, which will improve the usability and efficiency of processes right across the college.
- Implement rapid improvements to organisational efficiency and service delivery.
- Work closely with staff across many administrative and teaching departments, understanding their needs and formulating innovative solutions to any problems.
- Demonstrate a strong technical understanding and exceptional interpersonal skills; able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Work effectively alongside the Head of QMIST and Head of IT services, whose teams will provide outstanding technical and functional support for the strategy.
- Lead and project manage the introduction of a new Student Records System (such as Advanced ProSuite, Tribal EBS or other sector-leading software).
- Report and communicate progress against plan and issues to the senior management team, college teams directly involved in delivery of the project and all other stakeholders
- Coordinate staff and resources across all aspects of the college, via their line managers.

**Essential**
- Experience of successfully delivering digital change projects, from initiation through delivery to benefit realisation
- Expert knowledge and practical experience of project and change management methodologies and tools
- Evidence of strong Continuing Professional Development
- Well-developed problem-solving skills; being organised, thinking ahead, understanding and using information to develop effective solutions and working towards smart goals, with determination to see a problem through to a solution

**Desirable**:

- Relevant professional accreditation - Project Management Advanced level (such as PMP / APM / Prince 2 Practitioner / Prince2 Agile / ScrumMaster)
- Extensive experience of Student Records Systems (such as Advanced ProSuite, Tribal EBS or other sector-leading software)
