Accounts Payable Specialist

**Accounts Payable role based in Portadown - Hybrid Working and Flexible work patterns available**

**“We are working on behalf of our client who is recruiting for Accounts Payable member to join a small team in a local reputable company based in Co Armagh. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for and assisting with the successful execution of the Accounts Payable duties.**

**About the Job**

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Supporting AP Analyst on queries and escalations.
- Parked Invoice Reporting
- Perform month end analysis and activities
- Producing monthly KPI & Metrics
- Cash forecasting
- Providing Support to the AP Manager
- Management of resolving Returned Payments
- Management of exceptions in weekly payment runs
- Analysing and reporting on payment related KPI’s
- Reconciliation of Advance Supplier Payments
- Processing of Direct Debit Payments

**Experience, Skills and Attributes**
- At least 3-5 years Accounts Payable or other financial experience
- Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrable experience working on their own as well as in a team environment
- Strong customer service mind-set
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office
