RECRUITMENTiQ are delighted to be working with a professional CNC engineering who are looking for an experienced electrical/mechanical engineer to join their small team.
Based out of our main unit in Marchwood, Southampton, you will be responsible for unit maintenance and carrying out repairs and refurbishment of machine parts. You will also visit a variety of customers across the UK to carry out maintenance, repairs and serviceson their customers machines to a high standard. They pride themselves on getting the job done on time and to the highest standard, which can involve working some long hours and overnight stays within the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise and developyour engineering skills in a varied and interesting role.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. This is a full-time permanent role.**Who are They?**
They are a professional CNC engineering company, specialising in the service, repair and installation of CNC sheet metal working machinery within the UK, Europe and World Wide. With over thirty years of experience, they offer unparalleled knowledge of Pullmaticequipment and work extensively on Ursviken press brakes and other CNC machinery. Their goal is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, by providing a professional service that meets all their customer's individual needs.**Key duties & responsibilities**:

Repairing and maintaining machines on customer sites across the UK as required.
Accurately completing all relevant paperwork on a daily basis including engineers reports, timesheets and expenses.
Carry out inspections and repairs of machines and parts at their unit as required.
Carry out maintenance and repair of their unit as required
Relevant experience or qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
Excellent planning and time management skills
Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Great customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with their customers
Excellent IT skills
A flexible and positive outlook with an outgoing approach to work
The ability to work with minimum supervision and use own initiative
Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
Ability to take direction and take in information quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High levels of attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
