**Science Graduate Learning Support Assistant - Walsall**

Shape A Life have partnered with a secondary school who is currently seeking a science graduate for a full time role for the remainder of the school year.

We are looking for a confident graduate who would have the confidence to tutor small groups of students to bridge gaps in their learning.

**Starting ASAP**, this term-time-only role has an excellent salary of **£450 per week term time only.**

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- 1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
- Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
- Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
- Helping to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils in social and emotional well-being.
- Ensuring all pupils feel valued and included in the classroom.

In this role you will be a part of the science department in the school and the job has the potential to lead to a route to teaching.

**You will need**:

- Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
- An interest in secondary school education
- **Science Degree - 2:2 or above**.
- Have high expectations of teaching and learning.
- Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
- To have good communication skills
- To be confident, self-assured and happy.
- Be keen to develop as a professional
