Groundsperson

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine groundskeeping tasks to ensure the cleanliness and attractiveness of the property
- Use power tools and hand tools to mow, trim, and edge lawns
- Maintain flower beds by planting, weeding, and pruning
- Dig trenches and install irrigation systems as needed
- Assist in the construction of outdoor structures such as fences, pathways, and garden beds
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Proficiency in operating power tools and hand tools
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
