**Bowel Screening Centre, Kings Cross Hospital**:
**(possible relocation to Ninewells in the future)**:
The Scottish Bowel Screening Programme are looking for Programme Support Officer to join the busy team currently based at Kings Cross Hospital although working closely with our Laboratory at Ninewells Hospital will also form part of the post.

We are looking for an individual who can motivate staff and who is a great problem solver. A person who enjoys working as part of a team as well as the ability to work without direct supervision with a willingness to learn. It is essential that you enjoy working with the public, have strong customer service skills, excellent organisation skills with the ability to work on a wide range of issues.

Good verbal and written communication skills are an important part of this post, as are a high level of IT skills, with proficiency across Microsoft Office (excel, word and Teams)

Key Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to:
- Communicating and collaborating with a variety of operational and professional stake holders
- Producing reports for National Meetings
- Using a variety of digital platforms to monitor quality and activity (data manipulation/problem solving)
- Team Leadership/managing staff
- Carrying out Audits to report on locally and nationally
- Coordinating Team to carry out Service development testing (Helpline and Laboratory Staff)
- Project Management knowledge (e.g. Service changes for IT system)
- Co-ordinate and manage Social Media

**You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
