**What is the Role?**

The O&M team within SSE Enterprise utilities operates and maintains the groups Heat Energy centres across the UK. The Energy centres provide hot water, heating and in some instances, cooling to both residential and commercial customers on the developments that utilise each of these energy centres.

This role will have the responsibility of undertaking a range of housekeeping duties and routine compliance checks within these Energy Centres.

Ensuring that health and safety compliance is maintained at all times, the role will be to make sure all duties are delivered to a high standard and mandatory compliance checks are are met and completed on time.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Comply with SSE Policies, Procedures, SHE objectives and Quality Standards to ensure the adoption of Safe Working Practices during the housekeeping, maintenance and repair throughout the area of responsibility.
- Provide housekeeping duties including but not limited to energy centre cleaning, repairs and installations related to the fabric of the building
- Routine compliance tasks to be completed on time
- Effective planning and organisation of role tasks
- Working in an efficient manner to best utilise your time
- Liaise with O&M, Assets and Projects for energy centre ad hoc SMO tasks such as deliveries or supervision of deliveries
- Maintain SMO related stocks on each energy centre

**What do I need?**
- Carry out other duties consistent with the nature, responsibilities, and seniority of your post.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience of working in a similar role desirable but not essential
- Experience of housekeeping and compliance tasks
- Understanding Method statements, Risk & COSHH Assessments, and Permits to Work
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

- A full UK driving licence
