**ERP Implementation Manager - Manchester**

SearchDATA Group is currently recruiting a ERP Implementation Manager for a growing logistics business based in Manchester. This is a brand-new role, with initial projects in a 5 year planning stage, where you will be reporting to the MD, you will managethe full life-cycle of ERP projects including full implementations of new systems and major projects in existing systems. This could include manage the project team working on each project and providing third-line support for ERP issues.

This ERP Implementation Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for somebody wanting to be involved in the ownership of the full business system life cycle in a growing and developing logistics business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Project manage ERP projects across the full life-cycle
- Carry out project scoping and documentation of systems
- Analyse business needs and determine solutions using standard or bespoke solutions
- Analyse and manage the integration of third-party systems including route-planning, carrier integration, electronic proof-of-delivery, postal invoicing and trading websites.
- Setup and configure ERP systems for use by new businesses including screen amendments, reports, requestors, users and security.
- Assist with data migration between the old and new systems.
- Undertake full testing programmes, log, investigate and resolve any issues found.
- Produce and update documentation of business processes and user guides.
- Lead training sessions with end users and support them through initial use of the system.
- Assist end users with testing, provide support and investigate issues.
- Support project go-lives on-site across weekends and evenings.
- Provide post go-live support to users, carry out further training, investigate issues and update stakeholders.
- Provide second-line support for ERP issues

**Person Specification**:
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience of project managing and implementing ERP systems through the full life-cycle
- Scoping
- Configuration
- Training / UAT
- Go-live / support
- Finance
- Distribution (sales, purchase order and works order processing)
- Working knowledge of database systems (Informix, SQL Server)
- SQL queries and updates
- Maintenance including backup, recovery and indexing
- Scheduled tasks, scripts and crons
- Team management experience
- Project management skills, preferably a recognisable methodology (Prince).

**Additional Desirable Skills**
- Technical knowledge of ERP systems ideally Sage Line 500, Sage Line 1000, Sage X3
- Data import/export and integration with third-party systems
- Batch jobs and tasks
- Server management
- Installation, patching and upgrades
