Site Lead Engineer

**The Company**:
Our Client are one of the market leaders in the Air Management Industry They manufacture products that deal with controlling and lowering environmental noise and pollution - from hospitals, and hospitality to server rooms and swimming pools.
**The Role**:
The role involves carrying out tasks including, but not limited to:
- Complete on-site installation and refurbishment work on our air handling unit product range. Typically, but not limited to:
- Sectional assembly of air handling units involving leveling and assembly of individual sections and installation of weatherproof roofs.
- Installation of air handling units delivered to site in full flat-pack form. Full assembly of air handling unit framework/panels and installation of all individual component parts. Occasionally involving offloading and distribution to the working area.
- Complete +VE/-VE air leakage testing in accordance with the pre-determined criteria provided.
- Taking accurate measurements for internal sheet metal parts required and providing details to the office team.
- Thoroughly snag your own work and obtain completion sign-off from the customer’s site representative.
- Liaise with our projects team to understand the requirements of each project and then take ownership for the timely completion to a high standard.
- Working strictly in compliance with our project-specific risk assessment and method statement, assessing and recording deviations accordingly.
- Working strictly in compliance with each individual site’s own health and safety requirements/policies.
**Qualifications/Experience Required**:
- Experience in installing air handling units in flat-pack form is essential, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Must hold a valid CSCS card.
- Must hold a valid UK driving license.
- Valid IPAF and PASMA certificates are desirable.
**Qualities**:
- Be highly motivated and someone that takes pride in their work.
- Be organised and able to work under pressure using their own initiative when required.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours, travelling, and overnight stays. Typically working away Monday - Thursday, and home Friday.
